Friday, March 17, 2023 – Former Mukurweini Member of Parliament, Kabando wa Kabando, has termed President William Ruto’s move to appoint several nominees to the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) positions, as deceptive and insensitive towards the hustlers.
In a post on Friday, Kabando mocked Ruto who used to lie to the ‘hustlers’ that he will accommodate them to various jobs in his Government.
“Tutaunda serikali ya boda boda, mama mboga, mkokoteni, sio viti ya wadosi.”
“Hasla atawale,” Kabando said.
“We recognise Ruto constitutionally validated President, but we admit is insensitive to mass sufferings, is deceptive, is clueless #Statecraft. 50 CAS to eat #Hustlers #Unga. #Ruto=Disaster.” Kabando added.
President William Ruto allocated his UDA party the lion’s share of the 50 Chief Administrative Secretary positions.
Key partners in his Kenya Kwanza alliance were handed only a few slots following the nomination of CAS officers on Thursday.
Ruto for the first time in history on Thursday allocated CASs to the office of the Deputy President and the Prime Cabinet Secretary.
In the list of 50 nominees, three CAS will work under Rigathi Gachagua while three others will be under Musalia Mudavadi.
The nominees will now be vetted by the National Assembly before being appointed by the President.
