Friday March 17, 2023 – Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Azimio now wants employers to release their employees on Monday, 20th March to participate in demonstrations against President William Ruto and his Government.
Speaking at Parliament Buildings to assess the level of preparedness ahead of the much-anticipated demos, Raila, through Ugunja MP and Minority Leader in the National Assembly, Opiyo Wandayi, told employers that their employees will have a duty to perform that day.
He told the employers to heed to Raila’s call and allow their employees to demonstrate; otherwise, they will have themselves to blame.
“Employers from all sectors should release their employees and allow them to participate in the national duty. We expect that the employers will understand that their employees will be having a national duty to perform that day,” said Wandayi.
At the same time, the Ugunja legislator hit at Ruto for warning Raila against holding demos that will paralyse business operations in the country saying that is the work of the police.

Imbecile! whom are you talking for! Not me!
I will go to work as usual.
If you were working, life would be getting hard each day by your primitive demos!
