Friday, March 17, 2023 – Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, has urged Wiper Democratic Movement party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, not to participate in next Monday’s mass protest organised by Azimio leader, Raila Odinga.
In a social media post on Friday, Sonko said Kalonzo should not join the protests because President William Ruto and his Government machinery will do anything possible to stop the protests.
“You riddle man (Raila), you can’t and you will not keep on intimidating the Commander in Chief of all the defence forces; Kenya Army, Kenya Navy, and Kenya Airforce.”
“I swear this time round.”
“Kalonzo don’t join the maandamano just go to Tseikuru or Yatta and relax nikubaya,” Sonko said.
At the same time, Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar Sudi, has threatened to deal with civil servants who will join Raila’s mass protest on Monday.
“I have heard that Raila has ‘declared’ Monday, March 20, 2023, a public holiday, let us find out that there is no civil servant who will not report to work.”
“We are eagerly waiting for you,” Sudi stated.
