Wednesday, 02 March 2022 – Controversial businesswoman, Joyce Akinyi, is counting losses after her multi-million restaurant in Nairobi West was invaded by hired goons and destroyed.
Reports indicate that some unknown goons who were wearing hoods and balaclava invaded the Deep West restaurant at night and started demolishing it.
Confirming the incident, Akinyi said she lost millions of shillings after the popular entertainment joint was demolished.
“I have lost millions of shillings through the destruction. It was a well-calculated exercise that seems to have roped in some people in the government,” she said.
Sources intimate that the entertainment joint was demolished by the state after intelligence reports revealed that it was being used as a centre for trafficking drugs.
At the time of the night raid, Akinyi was asleep in one of the rooms, where she has been living after being kicked out of her Lavington home.
