RAILA is worse than RUTO, he will make Kenya poor like Kibera and Luo Nyanza, I don’t know why anyone will vote for him – GORDON OPIYO

Monday, March 14, 2022 – Political commentator, Gordon Opiyo, has warned Kenyans against voting for ODM leader, Raila Odinga’s presidency in the forthcoming General Elections.

Opiyo, who shares his stinging and hard-hitting political opinions and commentaries on his social media platforms, argued that Raila will pursue policies that will make people poorer so that they can depend on dynasties for survival.

In a post on Monday, March 14, Opiyo said that, unlike Deputy President William Ruto who steals and shares, the former Prime Minister steals and hoards (keeps) his loot.

“Another cold hard fact is this … Raila is ten times worse than Ruto. Raila will destroy the economy of Kenya, just like he has destroyed the economy of Nyanza.

“Unlike Ruto, who steals and shares, Raila steals and hoards. He likes people poor and ignorant, and he will pursue policies that make people poor and dependent on the Dynasties… We will turn into Serfdom, where 10 people own all of us,” he said.

Opiyo further opined that the KSh 6,000 social economic fund being popularized by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handshake partner will not empower Kenyans but will make the country poor just like the Nyanza region which mainly depends on handouts from politicians.

“So, don’t imagine that someone who has destroyed his Luo backyard economically will do anything different when he runs Kenya,” he claimed.

Last year, Opiyo, a fierce Raila critic of said that the vote-rich Mt Kenya region will never vote for Raila who has received the endorsement of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He said that the region will unanimously vote for someone else but not Raila Odinga.

“Fact is this. The Kikuyu nation will never vote Raila (Odinga)… Maybe another person from Nyanza, but not Raila Odinga, son of Jaramogi Odinga,” he said.
