Thursday, March 10, 2022 – Murang’a County Senator, Irungu Kang’ata, has called for the arrest of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for inciting Kenyans using madoadoa remarks.

Raila, who spoke in Wajir County on Wednesday, urged the residents to vote in leaders in 6-piece for the Azimio la Umoja movement.

“We want all candidates selected in Wajir to come from the Azimio la Umoja movement. We want this to be an Azimio zone. We don’t want madoadoa here in Wajir,” Raila stated.

However, Kang’ata has taken issue with Raila Odinga’s statement and asked police to swing into action and arrest the old man.

“Raila should be arrested for his “madoadoa” remarks, let the law be served equally!’ Kang’ata tweeted on Thursday.

The last time Meru Senator Mithika Linturi uttered the madoadoa remarks, he was arrested and charged in court over incitement.
