Friday, March 11, 2022 – Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said One Kenya Alliance (OKA) will have a presidential candidate in August and will not join any coalition ahead of the polls.

Speaking during the OKA coalition’s signing session on Friday, Kalonzo noted that OKA is ready to move to the ballot even without forming a coalition with any other political faction.

Kalonzo noted that the coalition’s values are preferred by Kenyans more than those of Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

“We want to state categorically that we are ready to go to the ballot with the required confidence since Kenyans like our values that are centered on zero corruption calls and other society values.

“Even if we aren’t supported by any other rival coalitions, we will Walk by ourselves, but we have also opened a window for negotiations,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo’s sentiments were supported by KANU Chairman, Gideon Moi, Narc Kenya chairperson, Martha Karua, and former Lugari Member of Parliament, Cyrus Jirongo who are principals of OKA.
