Monday, March 7, 2022 – Just a day after Deputy President William Ruto concluded his tour of the US which was deemed successful, another presidential candidate has run to the land of opportunities to look for sponsors.

Presidential aspirant Prof. George Wajackoyah embarked on a five-day political tour in the United States yesterday to seek international support for his bid.

According to a statement released by his team, the lawyer plans to visit Washington DC, New York, Maryland and Arizona.

“He will be on a five-day tour of the US to try and consolidate support from the international community ahead of August polls,” read the statement.

Wajackoyah will meet with business leaders and Kenyans living in the US as he pushes the Roots Party agenda, a move similar to that of the DP.

He recently sparked a national debate after he promised to legalise marijuana if he won the August 2022 General Election.

According to him, this would help alleviate some of the country’s debt.

Wajackoya plans to appoint eight prime ministers if he wins the August presidential race and suspend the constitution for six months “to allow Kenyans to decide on the kind of Constitution they want.”

He also promised to institute a four-day workweek system, running from Monday to Thursday. This, the lawyer claimed, would help strengthen family bonds, create a 24-hour economy and give Muslims a better chance to worship on Friday.

Moreover, the presidential aspirant promised to sever ties with China, introduce the death penalty for corrupt people and assign the Trade ministry to a Kenyan of Asian descent.
