Monday, February 7, 2022 – Ford Kenya Party leader, Moses Masika Wetangula, has for the first opened up on why he decided to abandon former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and join Deputy President William Ruto’s team ahead of the 9th August poll.
Speaking during the Kenya Kwanza political rally in Busia County on Monday, Wetang’ula said that Raila is such a difficult ‘load to push’
(We were with our brother Raila in 2013 as cord, 2017 as Nasa, we were busy saying Nasa only for Uhuru and Ruto to defeat Raila)”
“Hata wewe ukiwa mama pima, ndoto yako ni kusomesha mtoto wako akuwe engineer, daktari, lawyer..(I want to tell you that Raila is a heavy load and that’s why we have united with UDA and hustlers to help those who are at the bottom),” Wetang’ula said.
Wetangula further said that is only possible when there is equity and fairness in the management of the country’s public affairs
He also asked Western people to have faith in them and support them while promising that they will not let them down.
