Thursday, February 24, 2022 – Thousands of Kenyans have reacted to an opinion poll conducted by an online blog where they had asked who do they think will win the 2022 Presidential race between former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.
The poll showed Ruto leading with 66.3 percent of the votes sample followed by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga with 33.7 percent.
Reacting to the poll, Kenyans borrowed the words of former United States President Donald Trump who urged the US electoral agency to “Stop the Count!!” after he was beaten badly by current US President Joe Biden.
Here are some reactions from Kenyans on Twitter after 66.3 percent of the respondents in the poll supported DP Ruto.
“Stop! STOP!! The poll @WilliamsRutohas won!” Gidy the husband wrote.
“’ Stop the Count,” Clint Yegon wrote.
“Stop the Count,” Senior Scientist wrote.
