Wednesday, February 2, 2022 – Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart, Moses Wetangula, were all alone yesterday during a campaign trail in Nairobi with Deputy President William Ruto conspicuously missing in action.

However, it has emerged that Ruto is out of the country on private business.

According to reports, Ruto did not attend the rallies in the capital city as he was said to be on a private trip outside the country after completing three joint campaigns last week in Nakuru, Bungoma and Kirinyaga.

The DP is said to have left the country secretly like a thief and left Mudavadi in charge of his campaigns.

Details of his whereabouts were not immediately disclosed but according to the rumours flying around, he could be out to seek medical attention.

According to renowned blogger Robert Alai, the second in command secretly jetted outside the country after suffering for some time but his condition was not specified to the public and even his close aides.

However, Ruto’s son, Nick, denied Alai’s allegation, saying his father is well and people should stop spreading false rumours.

“I don’t recall when dad last went to hospital. His health is the hands of God who has been protecting him from illness. Stop lies! Shindwe pepo!” Nick Ruto posted on his Twitter account.

Nonetheless, we hope that all is well with the DP.
