Thursday, February 3, 2022 – Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) General, Miguna Miguna, has revealed the major difference between former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and late South African President and anti-apartheid hero, Nelson Mandela.
Jubilee Party Vice-chairman and Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) supporters have been terming Raila Odinga as the Nelson Mandela of Kenya, due to how he suffered in prison during late former President Daniel Moi’s regime.
In a Twitter post on Thursday, Miguna said, unlike Mandela who retired after five years after serving as South Africa President, Raila is still clinging to power even after he served for five years as Kenya’s Prime Minister.
Mandela served as South Africa President between 1994-1999 while Raila served as Prime Minister between 2008 -2013.
He also said Mandela is different from Raila Odinga since he did not allow the return of apartheid laws in South Africa like the way Raila Odinga is allowing the passage of archaic laws that are returning the country to the dark days.
“Nelson Mandela retired PERMANENTLY from electoral politics 5 years after serving as president.
“He never engineered the passage of laws to return South Africa to APARTHEID. Conman @RailaOdinga was PM for 5 years and Minister for 20 years. Follow Nyayo of tyrants.
“He is no Mandela,” Miguna said.
