Monday, 07 February 2022 – A matatu that was recorded by activist Boniface Mwangi bullying motorists was involved in a grisly accident that claimed the life of the conductor.
Mwangi had posted a video on Twitter calling out the driver of the ill-fated matatu for bullying motorists.
The matatu was being driven dangerously along Ngong Road.
Barely 24 hours after Boniface posted the video, the same matatu overturned and killed the conductor on the spot.
Several other passengers also sustained injuries.
The matatu overturned at Karen Roundabout.
