Tuesday, January 25, 2022 – Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna Miguna, has asked Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leaders to explain why they are upset after Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, pledged to work with Deputy President William Ruto ahead of the August 9th presidential election.
Mudavadi said he will work with Ruto to rescue Kenyans from what he termed as ‘state capture after ANC’s National Delegates Conference (NDC) endorsed his presidential bid on Sunday.
Immediately after the announcement, ODM leaders across the country started attacking Mudavadi, accusing him of betraying members of the Luhya community.
Reacting to ODM insults, Miguna, who is in exile in Canada, asked them to tell Kenyans why they are angry and yet they have been branding Mudavadi as a very useless man.
“If Omwami @MusaliaMudavadiwas as useless as the ODM/Azimio La Utapeli brigade claims, why are they so upset? Kenya belongs to everyone.
“It’s wrong for anyone to behave as if s/he has the right and power to decide for others what to think and whom to associate with,” Miguna wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday.
