Monday, January 25, 2022 – Lugari Member of Parliament, Ayub Savula, has claimed that Deputy President William Ruto bribed Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, to drop his presidential ambitions in August.
Speaking on Tuesday, Savula, who is a former ANC deputy party leader, said Jubilee Party Secretary-General, Raphael Tuju, informed him that Mudavadi was bribed with Sh 300 million to ‘sell his soul to the devil’.
Savula also said on top of that, Ruto bribed Mudavadi with a house in Karen.
The lawmaker further said Mudavadi’s ally and Kakamega Senator, Cleophas Malala, was also bribed with a house in his rural home.
“Malala has a house built by Ruto in Kakamega. Musalia house in Karen was also built by Ruto.
“The Jubilee Party Secretary-General called me and said Ruto had given Musalia Mudavadi Sh 300m,” Savula said.
Savula said that he stands by his word and can swear an affidavit to say Mudavadi was bribed to drop out of the presidential race in August.
