Wednesday, January 26, 2022 – Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, has shocked members of the Luhya community after saying he is not a son of Mulembe but a member of the Kalenjin community.
Mudavadi, who spoke on Wednesday when he accompanied Deputy President William Ruto to a series of rallies in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, declared that he was born in Eldama Ravine contrary to the information available online stating that he was born in Sabatia.
Mudavadi also stated that his stepmother, Rosbella Jerono, was born in the same town.
“Before I say anything, the people of Baringo, let me remind you that I am one of you.
“I was born here like my mother Rosbella. Albert and Douglas Chemitei, who I am sure are in the crowd, are my uncles,” Mudavadi said as the crowd cheered him.
Here is the video of Mudavadi admitting that he is a Kalenjin and not a Luhya.
