Sunday, January 23, 2022 – Kakamega Senator, Cleophas Malala, has revealed what will happen when Amani National Congress (ANC) delegates meet at the Bomas of Kenya on Sunday.

According to Malala, the delegates will first endorse ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi’s presidential bid in August and give him authority to look for coalitions.

“We have three sessions of the event, the first is the legal NDC.

“We are going to ratify officials of our party, our 5 deputy Party leaders. “We will give our party leader a mandate to fly the presidential flag ahead of the 2022 polls.

“We are also giving him the mandate to go and look for friends.

“In this country, you can not form the government without workable coalitions,” Malala revealed.

The lawmaker was also asked whether the big event will be an announcement on Musalia Mudavadi working with William Ruto.

“At the moment we haven’t started the meeting. We are looking for like-minded friends, we have not given our party leader a mandate to work with Ruto or Raila.

“It is upon him as our leader to settle on whom to bring.

“Whatever direction our party leader is giving us today, we will faithfully and religiously follow,” he said.
