Tuesday, January 25, 2022 – Narok County Senator, Ledama Ole Kina, has commented on Sunday’s incident at the Bomas of Kenya where Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, pledged to work with Deputy President William Ruto.
During the colourful ceremony attended by thousands of ANC delegates, Mudavadi said after soul searching and ‘listening to the ground’, he has decided to work with DP Ruto ahead of the August 9th presidential election.
Ole Kina, who is an ardent supporter of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, wondered who the second in command will settle on as his running mate, especially now that they are in a coalition with Mudavadi.
The vocal senator dragged Narc Kenya Chairperson Martha Karua into the running mate matrix as he speculated Ruto’s next move.
Ole Kina questioned whether it would be Karua or Mudavadi since the Mt Kenya region has already declared that Ruto’s running mate must come from the vote-rich region.
“So who are you targeting next as your deputy since you can’t give the MDVD?@MarthaKarua or who?,” Ole Kina asked on his Twitter page.
