Monday, January 24, 2022 – Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has commended Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his KANU counterpart, Gideon Moi, for walking out of Musalia Mudavadi’s earthquake meeting yesterday.
Ngilu, who has been a fierce critic of Kalonzo, heaped praises on the two One Kenya Alliance (OKA) co-principals for walking out on Mudavadi in what she termed as politics of deceit after he invited Deputy President William Ruto to the meeting.
“Well done Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi for running away from the politics of deceit,” Ngilu said in a Facebook post.
Mudavadi convened an NDC meeting at the Bomas of Kenya, where he was endorsed by the ANC party to vie for the top seat in the 2022 elections.
He had invited the One Kenya Alliance co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula as well as Deputy President William Ruto.
However, hell broke loose after Kalonzo and Gideon walked out in protest even before it officially commenced after Deputy President William Ruto and his entourage entered the meeting.
