Saturday, January 29, 2022 – Deputy President William Ruto has accused former Prime Minister Raila Odinga of bribing Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya legislators to ditch their parties and join the Azimio La Umoja movement.
For the last one week, dozens of MPs from both ANC and Ford Kenya have abandoned their parties and joined Raila’s bandwagon.
Speaking on Friday, DP Ruto who termed Raila as Mr. Kitendawili, said he is bribing Western MPs with Sh 20 million each to ditch ANC or Ford Kenya and join Azimio.
Ruto further wondered why Raila was complaining over his donations to churches and Harambee yet the ODM boss was buying ANC and Ford Kenya MPs at Sh 20 million each.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is also said to have disbursed Sh 500 million to Western Kenya to bribe ANC and Ford Kenya MPs to disown Mudavadi and Wetangula after they joined the second in command.
