Saturday, January 22, 2022 – There was drama at a popular city hotel in Uganda after detectives drawn from Flying Squad arrested a middle-aged man suspected to have stolen at least Ksh 10 Million from a prominent businessman.

While it’s not clear how he managed to steal the huge sum of money, Ugandan police boss, AIGP Kasan Kasingye, said the victim is a director of Movit Company, an established transport firm.

Kasingye said detectives traced the man and smoked him out of his hiding.

He had hired a hotel room in Mbarara City, not knowing that detectives were hot on his trail.

The millions that he had stolen were found hidden in the room.
