The Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) is a government agency created by the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act (POCAMLA) 2009, with the principal objective of identifying the proceeds of crime, combating money laundering, and fighting the financing of terrorism.
In order to enhance institutional capacity to deliver on its mandate, FRC is seeking to recruit qualified and competent personnel to fill the folowing position:
RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
FRC GRADE 8
ONE (1) POST
The Records Management Assistant will report to the Records Management Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
i. Implementing records management policies and procedures;
ii. Ensuring proper handling of documents;
iii. Effective mail management;
iv. Classifying and indexing of records;
v. Ensuring security of files and information; and
vi. Updating the records management systems.
i. Diploma in Records Management / Information Science / Library Science from a recognized Institution;
ii. Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya; and
iii. Must be a citizen of Kenya.
Key Competencies and Skills
i. Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills;
ii. Excellent organizing skills;
iii. High level of integrity;
iv. Must be a team player; and
v. Proficiency in computer applications.
