Saturday June 6, 2020 – Kiharu MP, Ndindi Nyoro, has said that he will not be intimidated by threats of being removed from National Assembly committees.
Speaking in his constituency on Friday, Nyoro said that he is being intimidated for supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.
Nyoro said that it is wrong for President Uhuru Kenyatta to betray Deputy President William Ruto yet he knows very well that were it not for William Ruto, he will be a potato seller in Gatundu South.
“’Without Ruto, the party would not have formed the Government,” Nyoro said.
“When we went round the country looking for votes, nobody thought Ruto was bad.”
“Why has that suddenly changed?” Nyoro asked.
The outspoken MP also blamed the wrangles facing the Jubilee Party on NASA leader, Raila Odinga, saying they started after his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“These issues started when Raila was allowed to meddle in the affairs of the party.”
“He is like the proverbial horse that is invited into the house and goes straight into the bedroom, and everything he touches is destroyed,” Nyoro said.
He added that people cannot be allowed to dictate how others breathe.
