Wednesday June 17, 2020 – Former State House official, Dennis Itumbi, has sensationally claimed that President Uhuru Kenyaa’s Jubilee Party has settled on Wiper Party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, as its 2022 presidential candidate with KANU party leader, Gideon Moi, set to be his running mate.
The blogger said that the Wiper Party had deposited a cooperation agreement with Jubilee Party and independence party KANU.
Taking to his Twitter page, Itumbi said a new line-up that would lock out Jubilee Deputy Party Deputy Leader, William Ruto, from the Presidency had been crafted ahead of the 2022 General Elections.
“Wiper Party finally deposits a cooperation agreement with Jubilee Party and KANU.”
“Enter Jubilee Coalition.”
“No more Jubilee Party structure.”
“Jubilee coalition presidential candidate and running mate Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi,” he tweeted.
Itumbi, a die-hard supporter of Ruto, claimed that Kalonzo had vowed not to support former Prime Minister Raila Odinga politically again.
Many pundits have predicted that Raila will be handed over the leadership baton by President Uhuru Kenyatta following their bromance since the March 2018 handshake.
Before the Coronavirus pandemic, Ruto had criss-crossed the country drumming up support for his 2022 presidential bid.
The DP is hoping to succeed Uhuru after his second and final term ends in 2020.
This comes even as it is rumored that Ruto may opt out of the race altogether and back Amani National Congress (ANC) leader, Musalia Mudavadi.
