Thursday June 25, 2020 – Renowned political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has dismissed former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri’s new party dubbed The Service Party (TSP).
Sharing his opinion via social media after Mwangi unveiled the party on Wednesday, Mutahi sarcastically congratulated the politician for unveiling a new political vehicle but claimed it will “wither” fast just like its yellow colour
“I congratulate Mwangi Kiunjuri for inventing a party.”
“The Service Party.”
“Because he is my friend, I will not diss him.”
“But if he was not my friend, I would have told him that the name is woolly.”
“And that yellow is the colour of withering things!”
“But I will not say this to my friend,” Mutahi said.
Kiunjuri launched TSP on Wednesday, six months after he was unceremoniously fired from the Cabinet by President Uhuru Kenyatta in January.
“I would like to introduce the entry of The Service Party of Kenya (TSP) into Kenya’s politics…”
“We have made the commitment to bring forth a platform that will be unequivocal about service delivery to our people as our name suggests,” Kiunjuri said.
