Sunday, 14 June 2020 – Wikileaks has released a chilling letter from a Kenyan policeman, revealing how former First Lady Lucy Kibaki, now deceased, and former Police Commissioner, Major General Hussein Ali, plotted the killing of prominent politicians using a police hit squad.
According to the letter, prominent politicians Martha Karua and Gitobu Imanyara, and 5 other MPs, were to be eliminated in 2009 by a police hit squad that was being run by powerful people in Kibaki’s Government.
Bonny Khalwale and Ferdinard Waititu, both former MPs, were also targeted by the police hit squad that was operating under instructions of Former First Lady Lucy Kibaki and powerful Police Commissioner Major General Hussein Ali.
The rogue cops were being paid Ksh 150, 000 each to carry out the criminal activities.
The letter also gives details on how suspected members of the Mungiki sect were tortured and killed by the dreaded Kwekwe hit squad, which was being paid weekly allowances of Ksh 25,000.
The cops who were used to do the dirty job died mysteriously while others disappeared without trace.
