Friday June 12, 2020 – Embattled Kirinyaga County Governor, Anne Waiguru, has nine lives like the proverbial cat going by what she is planning to do if the Senate approves her impeachment.
Waiguru was impeached by Kirinyaga County Assembly on Tuesday over gross misconduct and violating the constitution.
Her fate now lies with the Senate which will decide whether she will go home or not.
According to renowned blogger, Robert Alai, Waiguru has a master plan in case the Senate sends her home for good.
Alai, who is also a human rights crusader, said Waiguru is planning to vie for the Gichugu parliamentary seat in 2022 to bounce back again.
He said Interior Principal Secretary, Karanja Kibicho, who is behind the coup in Kirinyaga County, has already succeeded and he has the support of the Kirinyaga electorate.
“Anne Waiguru will be vying for the Gichugu parliamentary seat. She believes that Karanja Kibicho and the people of Kirinyaga won’t allow her to be governor again,” Robert Alai said.
