Wednesday June 3, 2020 – President Uhuru Kenyatta read riot act to his Deputy, William Ruto, and his Tanga Tanga crew, warning them that things will never be the same again for them if they continued disrespecting him.
Uhuru was furious that the DP and his allies had opted to politick and engage in 2022 succession battles against him.
“If you don’t respect me, why don’t you at the very least just respect the office I occupy?”
“You have branded me all sorts of names, but at least give honour to my office.”
The visibly angry Uhuru went ahead to warn Ruto’s allies not to undermine him nor take his silence for weakness, saying he has been receiving intelligence about them that is not good at all.
“You will know me, I will be so hard on you.”
“I know what you have been doing and how you have been referring to me.”
“I am always given intelligence on each of you when you are still asleep,” Uhuru ranted.
