Thursday, 11 June 2020 – Kirinyaga residents took to the streets and celebrated after embattled Governor Ann Waiguru was impeached.
The former Devolution CS, who was elected despite master-minding the infamous NYS scandal, has been running Kirinyaga County like a cattle dip, awarding tenders to close friends and stealing millions of shillings.
In this video, market women are seen conducting a mock funeral for the embattled Governor, whose fate lies in the Senate after she was impeached by the County Assembly.
