Friday June 12, 2020 – Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has revealed how he was embarrassed by Royal Media Service while being interviewed by Citizen TV reporter, Sam Ogina, on Thursday.
According to Kuria, Ogina had intended to engage him extensively to get his opinion on the KSh 2.7 trillion budget that had been read by Treasury CS Ukur Yatani.
But he was only given 30 seconds and Ogina was instructed to cut short his interview.
“Citizen TV’s Sam Ogina-a friend of mine for 13 years was cut off from live TV when he tried to interview me in Parliament after the Budget Speech,” Kuria said.
Kuria added that he was also denied airtime in another television station linked to Baringo Senator, Gideon Moi, saying that the one minute he was given was not “enough”.
“The KTN guys were lucky but only for a minute.”
“The cut off is clearly discernible.”
“Ngai wa Mathenge na Kimathi na Kagia have we reached to that point?” Kuria wondered.
Kuria is among Mt Kenya MPs who are supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.
