Thursday June 18, 2020 – Deputy President William Ruto seems to be unstoppable when it comes to going for the presidency in 2022.
Though the DP has faced major hurdles on his journey to ascend to the presidency, the hustler from Sugoi seems to be determined to occupy the house on the hill after President Kenyatta‘s exit in 2022.
Uhuru, who is the Jubilee Party leader, is in the second and final term of his tenure and he is showing signs of not support Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022 despite promising to do so in 2013.
Ruto, who has a cult following in Mt Kenya and Rift Valley regions, has formed a new party after sensing that his boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, has decided to betray him.
Ruto’s new party is Jubilee Asili and it will soon recruit members countrywide as it prepares to battle it out with other parties during the 2022 presidential elections.
Jubilee Party will remain under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
