Sunday, June 14, 2020 – ODM leader, Raila Odinga, has urged Kenyans to get tested for the Covid19 after he took the test on Sunday at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) in Mbagathi.
The former Prime Minister said that he took the test to encourage other Kenyans to voluntarily take it so as to know their health status.
“I took the Covid-19 test at Kemri in Mbagathi earlier today. I took the opportunity to appeal to all Kenyans to go for testing.
“A Covid-19 certificate is becoming an important document as we continue battling the pandemic,” he posted on twitter.
Since it takes up to 48 hours for the results to be out, Raila will know his status either on Monday or Tuesday.
