Wednesday June 3, 2020 – President Uhuru Kenyatta reportedly chased away Deputy President William Ruto and his allies from State House after an intense Parliamentary Group meeting.
According to reports, Uhuru was incensed by Ruto and his allies’ continued politicking and the 2022 succession battles against him.
He went on a 30-minute rant, highlighting how his critics were clashing with his agenda and asking them to accord him the respect he deserves.
“If you don’t respect me, why don’t you at the very least just respect the office I occupy?”
“You have branded me all sorts of names, but at least give honour to my office.”
The President went on to threaten Ruto and his allies, warning them to never take his silence for weakness.
“You will know me, I will be so hard on you.”
“I know what you have been doing and how you have been referring to me.”
“I am always given intelligence on each of you when you are still asleep,” Uhuru warned.
Immediately he finished his rant, Uhuru ordered Ruto and his fanatics to leave State House at once.
This came despite efforts by Ruto’s team to respond to Uhuru’s tongue lashing which were nipped in the bud.
