Thursday June 18, 2020 – As the number of coronavirus cases continues to surge in the country, State House, Nairobi, seems to be among the worst-hit Government facilities in the country.
Initially, there were 4 cases of the virus at State House, but on Wednesday, the cases rose to 16 according to impeccable sources.
“We have so far 16 cases that have turned positive from the virus with four of us living within the compound and the rest outside,” said a source at State House.
The new revelation came even as it emerged that a senior State official had been admitted in a private hospital in Nairobi after he tested positive for the virus.
By last evening, it also emerged that some Governors who visited State House recently are being sought after some individuals tested positive for the virus.
However, according to State House spokesperson, Kanze Dena, the President, and the first family are okay and doing well.
