Tuesday June 16, 2020 – Ever since Kenya confirmed its first case of Coronavirus, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been on point initiating and implementing key measures to stop the spread of the virus.
One such measure was to restrict movement in and out of Nairobi and Mombasa among other areas.
Uhuru’s family was among the first casualties of his order on cessation of movement in and out of Nairobi and Mombasa.
In May, the Head of State disclosed that his wife, Margaret, mother, Mama Ngina and son, had been confined at Mombasa’s State House when he first announced the cessation of movement at the Coast Region and Nairobi on April 6th.
He said that they could not move out of Mombasa and come to Nairobi thanks to his order.
