Sunday, 07 June 2020 – After trashing her baby daddy, Dennis Okari, calling him a dead beat father and claiming that he doesn’t support his own flesh and blood, Betty Kyallo has now turned around and started heaping praises on him saying how he is an amazing dad to their daughter.
While speaking in an interview with Jalang’o, the fast fading anchor, who was fired from K24 over poor performance, disclosed that she had mended fences with her ex-husband and baby daddy, and they are both actively involved in their daughter’s life.
“Right now they’re besties.”
“I call her and she’s like ‘I’m with Daddy,’ and I feel good.”
“That’s exactly how it’s supposed to be.”
“He’s doing an amazing job and we’re co-parenting,” she said.
Betty Kyallo’s remarks left Kenyans in confusion because she has regularly blasted Okari, calling him a dead beat dad.
Even when their daughter was admitted in ICU for several months, she didn’t thank Okari when mentioning those who supported her in settling the hospital bill that had accumulated to Ksh 9 Million, despite Okari raising over 5 million and always being there for their sick daughter.
A section of Kenyans have concluded that Betty Kyallo was forced to eat humble pie and co-parent with Okari after she lost her plum job at K24, where she used to earn Ksh 950,000 per month.
She even posted a photo of Okari helping their daughter, Ivanna, with school work to show the world how they are working together to raise their daughter.
