Tuesday June 23, 2020 – Wiper Democratic Movement has started the process of disciplining former Machakos Senator, Johnstone Muthama, over what the party termed as gross insubordination and defiance to the party’s ideologies.

The party, on Tuesday, gave Muthama a 14-day ultimatum to respond to claims leveled against him before disciplinary action is taken.

“Wiper Demoractic Movement-Kenya has initiated disciplinary proceedings against former Machakos Sen. Johnstone Muthama over alleged insubordination and defiance to the party’s ideologies.”

“The party has given Sen. Muthama 14 day ultimatum to respond to the said claims,” read a statement from Wiper.

Muthama has been accused of calling for a parallel coalition between the Deputy President William Ruto and Wiper.

Notably, Muthama has often come out to defend the DP from his critics and pledged his unwavering support, a move that Kalonzo Musyoka’s party feels is against their ideologies.
