Saturday, June 6, 2020 – Sammy Maina, a 24 year old University student, moves around Kikuyu town and surrounding areas distributing free maize flour to vulnerable families.

The student, who hawks water and sweet potatoes in the area, has come to the rescue of hundreds of vulnerable families who were at the risk of sleeping hungry as local politicians continue engaging in supremacy wars.

He uses his meagre earnings from his hawking business to buy maize flour for vulnerable families.

He then distributes the maize flour using a mkokoteni.
