Saturday, May 30, 2020 – The wife of Derek Chauvin, the monster ex-Minneapolis cop who has been arrested and charged with the murder of George Floyd, has filed for divorce.
Kellie Chauvin is seeking the ‘dissolution of her marriage’ to Chauvin according to her Attorneys.
“I spoke with Kellie Chauvin and her family.”
“She is devastated by Mr. Floyd’s death and her utmost sympathy lies with his family, with his loved ones and with everyone who is grieving this tragedy.”
“She has filed for dissolution of her marriage to Derek Chauvin,” the Sekula Law Office said in a statement on Friday night.
“While Ms. Chauvin has no children from her current marriage, she respectfully requests that her children, her elder parents, and her extended family be given safety and privacy during this difficult time.”
This comes after thousands of protestors took to the streets to demand the arrest of Chauvin and other cops involved in the murder of Goerge Floyd.
While Chauvin has since been arrested and charged with the murder of George Floyd, three other officers, who were fired in connection to incident are yet to be arrested or charged.
