Saturday, May 16, 2020 – The family of Omar Lali has requested to be allowed to attend the burial of his late girlfriend, Tecra Muigai, the daughter of billionaire proprietors of Keroche Breweries.
A family spokesman identified as Mohamed Lali says that they want to pay their last respects to Tecra because she lived with them and respected them while dating their son.
Tecra died on May 2nd, 2020, after what the Keroche Breweries board described as a ‘tragic accident’
It was reported that she was living with her boyfriend, Omar Lali, in a private residence in Lamu where she fell down a staircase and injured herself.
She succumbed to her injures while receiving treatment in Nairobi Hospital.
Despite autopsy results showing that Tecra died of injuries she sustained after falling down the stairs, her wealthy parents want her boyfriend who is still in police custody charged with murder.
Tecra’s family insists that she was pushed, while the lawyer and pathologist representing Omar insisted that the fall was accidental.
Tecra will be interred in Naivasha in a private family ceremony.
