Friday May 29, 2020 – Jubilee Party Secretary-General, Raphael Tuju, has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is the official leader of the ruling coalition, is the man who has the final say on the fate of Leader of Majority in Parliament, Aden Duale.
Speaking on Thursday, Tuju said though Duale has been loyal to Jubilee Party, his fate still lies with the President who is his boss.
“The boss will definitely have the final say on the fate of Duale who is also the Garissa Town MP,” Tuju said.
Duale is seen to have meticulously pushed through Government business in Parliament and moderate politicians within Jubilee have suggested that he should be spared.
However, he stands accused of being among elite politicians around Deputy President William Ruto who have opposed the handshake between the President and ODM leader, Raila Odinga.
Also facing the sack are Majority Whip Benjamin Washiali and his deputy, Cecily Mbarire.
