Wednesday May 27, 2020 – Renowned social media crusader and blogger, Robert Alai, has revealed what killed former Kenya Rugby Sevens player, Allan Makaka, last weekend.

Makaka, who worked at Royal Media Services’ as the Business Manager in charge of Hot 96, is said to have rammed into a trailer on Mombasa road and died on the spot.

Royal Media Services confirmed that his family has been notified.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on of our colleague Allan Makaka, Business Manager in the Commercial department through a tragic road accident,” RMS said on Saturday morning.

But according to Alai, Makaka, who was driving a Mercedes Benz car, died of drunk driving.

Watu wa “gari inajua nyumbani.” A functional alcoholic and then you take to the wheels. It’s a shame. Those who called him a friend refused to tell him the truth. He drank to his death. I have lost enough relatives and friends due to this recklessness. We must speak out!!,” Alai said.
