Friday May 15, 2020 – Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi, has revealed how Deputy President William Ruto attempted to mobilise numbers to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta’s State House team does not meet the threshold to dethrone Senators Murkomen and Kihika on Monday.

Speaking on Friday, Sudi narrated how the DP made 22 calls to Cherargei in a bid to woo him to come to the rescue of Murkomen and Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika.

According to the outspoken legislator, Ruto’s resolve to intervene was the last resort after attempts by other party counterparts to reach Cherargei failed.

“We began looking for Cherargei so that he could come and append his signature to the letter that had been drafted by Kihika but he kept on saying he will come to where we were but to no avail.”

“This is when I told the boss (DP) to call him.”

“He was called 22 times but he kept on saying he is around and will come and sign,” Sudi said.

In the end, Charargei sent his signature but never showed up to physically sign the document as they had agreed.

“Truth be told that Cherargei never signed our document with his hand.”

“He chose to play in between when we wanted to rescue our brother Murkomen,” he stated,

Cherargei pretends to be a close ally of Dr William Ruto.
