Saturday May 23, 2020 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has given the strongest indication that he may be going after his Deputy, William Ruto, next after the ouster of Senate Deputy Speaker, Kithure Kindiki, yesterday.
According to sources at State House, Uhuru urged Senators to oust Kindiki saying the move would pave way for his constitutional agenda.
He urged them to prepare for two crucial tasks going forward.
The Head of State did not disclose what the assignments were but hinted that one was political and the other was aligned to his legacy.
“The message was short and clear.”
“They told us the coming days are crucial in constitutional reforms and we must clean the house by removing all those who don’t conform to their agenda,” one Senator seeking anonymity disclosed.
According to Uhuru’s ally who requested anonymity, the President is cleaning house and putting everything in order to impeach Ruto.
That is why he removed the stumbling blocks – Kindiki, Kipchumba murkomen and Susan Kihika – out of the way.
