Friday May 15, 2020 – Former Senators Johnstone Muthama, Husein Omar and Boni Khalwale have issued a joint briefing on the current state of politics in the country.
Omar and Muthama, who have been relatively quiet over the last few months, joined Khalwale in airing out their concerns about unprecedented political developments in the country especially after the formation of the Jubilee-KANU coalition.
“Disguised as an emerging coalition arrangement and its resultant Government of National Unity is a consensual and calculated scheme by contracting parties to have a Kenyatta succeed Uhuru Kenyatta with a promise of a piece of the pie,” the Senators said.
They also said Uhuru is humiliating his deputy, William Ruto, because he wants his brother, Muhoho Kenyatta, to succeed him in 2022.
“In the event of a watered-down version of a Prime Minister, Muhoho Kenyatta, Uhuru’s younger brother will be Prime Minister.”
“For this, they also need a President who will play ball, a card dangled to the contracting parties,” they claimed.
The Senators also said that Uhuru has lost control of Mt Kenya region to Ruto and that is why he is harassing everybody associated with Dr William Ruto
