Monday, May 11, 2020 – Renowned political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has commented about a coalition agreement between the ruling Jubilee Party and KANU.

On Wednesday last week, President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is the Jubilee Party leader signed a post-election pact with KANU chairman, Gideon Moi, to strengthen the coalition.

The signing of the post-election agreement now means that KANU has become the first party to formalise its agreement with Jubilee, shoring up President Kenyatta’s numbers in both Houses at a time of an increasingly public cold war between him and his deputy, William Ruto.

Sharing his thoughts about the issue on Monday, Mutahi Ngunyi said Uhuru is organizing the Kikuyu nation ahead of the 2022 presidential election.

Mutahi said that Uhuru is indirectly telling the Kikuyu community to eat Ruto’s money and not to vote for his bid in 2022.

“The ORGANISING PRINCIPLE of the House of GEMA is Simple: KULA Ruto, KURA Uhuru. As I have SAID before: You cannot BUY a Kikuyu. You can only RENT one!” Mutahi said.
