Tuesday, May 5, 2020 – Kenyan media personality, Ciru Muriuki, has been hospitalized and is set to undergo another surgery.
In a post on social media, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Africa journalist stated that this will be her third surgery.
The sassy lass has been battling a condition known as endometriosis since 2017.
This is a disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that forms the lining of your uterus grows outside of your uterine cavity and is characterized by painful monthly periods.
“Hae So much. So I’m back in the hospital for my THIRD surgery.”
“This journey with endometriosis has not been easy. On the bright side, my skin is popping.”
“We thank God. 😁,” she wrote on Instagram.
She went under the knife first in December 2017 to remove an ovarian cyst.
“I had a laparoscopic procedure yesterday to remove a large hemorrhagic ovarian cyst.”
“I’m a little sore but on the mend. We need a cure. We do,” she wrote then on Instagram.
