Friday May 15, 2020 – KANU leader, Gideon Moi, has shared his plans for the coming days after forming a coalition with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Government.
Speaking yesterday, Gideon gave his five-point agenda that he wants implemented by Uhuru.
Gideon shared a statement as the party marked sixty years since it was founded on May 14, 1960, outlining five areas where KANU plans on focusing its energies while in partnership with Jubilee.
He acknowledged that the independence party had seen its fair share of ups and downs, calling for its current members to learn from past mistakes.
Gideon noted that the Covid19 pandemic had caused the party to rethink its policies and prioritise particular areas, with one eye on the future.
Among the five agendas Gideon wants to focus on while in Uhuru’s Government include;-
-Safeguarding Local Resources
-Party Structures and Youth in Leadership
