Thursday May 21, 2020 – Celebrated lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi, has given his opinion on the current state of the Supreme Court saying the institution is wanting.

Speaking to Jeff Koinange Live Show yesterday, Ahmednasir faulted Chief Justice David Maraga for misleading the institution.

He termed Maraga as a total failure, indirectly urging President Uhuru Kenyatta to relieve him of his duties as soon as possible before he grinds the Judiciary to a shameful halt.

“I think the Chief Justice has shown a complete failure of leadership.”

“He wasn’t a great manager in the first place but the way he is managing the courts during this crisis just shows his ineptitude,” he opined.

He added that the Supreme Court had betrayed the hopes of Kenyans by failing in its mandate for the past five years.

“The Supreme Court of Kenya as it is today is not worth my time or the time of any decent person,” he added when asked if he would be interested in applying to become Chief Justice.

  1. Who needs his judgement. This is a guy who openly admits that he twice voted for the most inept and corrupt government. I mean if can properly evaluate some thing as simple as that how can he judge some that incites his emotions like who should be CJ. It is common knowledge that he wasted Mutunga’s running it like a private gang. Sorry it ended all that misconduct cannot be entertained by the current CJ.
