Thursday May 28, 2020 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly urged Jubilee Party Secretary-General, Raphael Tuju, to ensure that nominated Senator, Millicent Omanga, is removed as Jubilee Senator.
On Wednesday, Omanga was the butt of all jokes following her lackadaisical performance as she appeared before the party’s disciplinary tribunal.
The Senator found herself on a tight spot as she was put to task over her loyalty to President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee Party.
She defended her absence from the Jubilee PG meeting held in State House saying she missed the text message inviting her.
According to sources, Uhuru was amused by Omanga’s explanation and asked Tuju to relieve her off her duties and revoke her nomination as Jubilee Senator.
“Yes the president was amused by her explanation why she missed the Jubilee PG meeting in State House,” said a senior State House official who is privy to the ongoing purge in Jubilee.
